Below are the current Tri Squares elected and appointed positions. These positions are all 1-year long, and all are volunteer.
Any Current Member of Tri Squares can run for election and / or request to fill one of the appointed positions. Elections are held in May each year at the Membership Meeting.

Elected Positions
President
Presides at Club meetings and dances, and serves as a spokesperson for the Club. Assists the board to ensure all obligations are met in a timely fashion.
Vice President
Oversees and helps organize Club events including lessons and visitations. Fills in for the president as needed.
Secretary
Takes minutes at board and membership meetings. Shares minutes via email to Club members. Maintains minute records. Keeps all current Club governing documents updated. Fills in for the president if the vice president is not available.
Treasurer
Is the Club’s main point of contact regarding bank account information. Makes sure all financial obligations for the Club are met. Reconciles all Club income and expenses. Files required annual financial reports and tax forms.
Dance Coordinator
Coordinates dance themes and communicates this to the Board. Reviews all dance flyers. Schedules dance hosting volunteers. Oversees refreshment setup and clean up.
TVC Delegate (2)
Attends monthly TVC meetings. Keeps the Board informed of any information and deadlines from the TVC and Oregon Federation. Represents Tri Squares at TVC dances and activities.

appointed Positions
Assistant Dance Coordinator
Fills in at dances, board meetings, and other events when the Dance Coordinator is unavailable. Assists Dance Coordinate in planning themes and refreshments.
Assistant Treasurer
Fills in when the treasurer is unavailable.
Audit Committee Chair
Leads the committee that annually reviews the Club finances. Shares committee findings annually at membership meeting.
Caller-Cuer Liaison
Acts as main point of contact for coordinating everything with Club Caller and Cuer. Completes contracts for cuer and caller. Makes arrangements for guest / substitute Callers & Cuers.
Flyer Creator
Create flyers for Club dances and lessons. Share with Webmaster, Social Media Chair, and to Vice President.
Grange Liaison
Attends monthly Grange meetings. Shares Tri Squares priorities with the Grange and ensures they understand the Grange’s priorities. Keeps board updated on Grange news. Manages distribution of Grange Keys.
Lessons Chair
Coordinates lessons including advertising, recruiting, and graduation.
Lessons Coordinator - Welcome Table
Registers all students. Keeps accurate records of student registration information and payments.
Lessons Coordinator - Refreshments
Schedules Club members to provide lessons refreshments including setup and cleanup.
Membership Chair
Keeps Club rooster updated. Coordinates with Webmaster to ensure updated information is included in the members area of the website.
Nominations Committee Chair
Matches Club members and their skills with vacant board positions.
OFN Reporter
Writes and submits monthly OFN Report for publication on the Oregon Federation website.
Sheriff
Promotes the Club sponsored charity donations. Announces members’ birthdays & anniversaries at Club Dances.
Social Chair
Plans all Club social events including the annual picnic, holiday party, and annual membership meeting.
Social Media Coordinator
Updates Facebook monthly and checks the account weekly for messages.
Special Events Chair
Assist the Visitation Chair with planning and organizing the Club’s Mystery Trips, or other special events.
Sunshine Coordinator
Sends cards / flowers on behalf of the Club to members experiencing difficult times.
Tattler Editor
Creates and distributes the monthly newsletter - “The Tattler.”
Visitation Chair
Plans and organizes monthly Club visitations to other area clubs.
Webmaster
Keeps the website and connected accounts updated. Shares Tri Squares Club information with other clubs and the Oregon Federation.
