Round DANCING LESSONS
Round Dancing is taught by type
Round dance lessons are taught by focusing on one type of dance at a time, such as cha-cha, waltz, or two-step. This allows dancers to learn the basic rhythm, timing, and characteristic movements of each dance before combining them into full routines. In class, the cuer will teach the basic steps and experienced dancers will be there to help.
Tri Squares is offering Round Dancing lessons beginning September 13 on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 - 3:15 pm. The cost for the full 12-week session is $96. This year the lessons will focus on the Two-Step. During this course, you will learn all of the figures and movements for the Two-Step. For more information fill out the short form below.
Round Dancing is featured at all Tri Squares dances, offered between each Square Dance tip. Many other Square Dance clubs throughout Oregon also include Round Dancing.
Students are welcome to take both Round Dancing and Square Dancing lessons at the same time. Both classes are offered on Sundays, with Round Dancing lessons held first, followed by Square Dancing lessons.
